David’s been playing with HTML since 1997, when he was supposed to be learning chemistry. He wanted to do website design, then discovered he sucked at design, but loved programming. (And he also earned a degree in chemistry.) What most excites him is building stuff that makes a difference, where users can save time or get improved reporting. He’s passionate about music and photography... and coffee... and playing around with tech... and coffee and (now) his new VW Golf. And coffee. Single-origin coffee. Especially Hawaiian Kona. David’s from the north of England, and despite vowing he would never work in the other London, he worked there for a couple of years before he came to Canada… and ended up working in this London.
